Christianity replaced by secular humanism in the West

A large portion of the liberal elites of the West are followers of the “religion” (i.e. the set of outlooks, attitudes, values, beliefs, axioms, and assumptions) of (atheistic) secular humanism. And this religion has gained so much traction and influence in the West that it has effectively replaced much of Christianity in the West. The ideas of secular humanism have gained so much influence in the theological seminaries of a great many Christian denominations that the ministers graduating from those seminaries are effectively spreading variations of the secular humanistic message in the name of Christianity. They are preaching an apostate Christianity that is really secular humanism. Moreover, secular humanism is the underlying outlook, philosophy, religion of the colleges and universities of the West. Thus this “religion” has come to dominate the governments of the West.

People make decisions. They decide what they are going to believe, what “religion” they are going to believe in, and then they follow that religion that they have chosen. Then once they have chosen a religion, they listen to the preachers of that religion, read exclusively material produced by propagandists of that religion, and become brainwashed into that religion. (Indeed, they become programmed robots.)

And that is how modern leftist liberals are made.

People don’t like to admit they are wrong. Once they have made their decisions and committed themselves to a particular course they don’t like to question that course. And they don’t like to hear things that challenge that course. They just keep following the course they have chosen. They listen to their own preachers and ignore all other voices. They become tuned to a particular wavelength and all other wavelengths just bounce off. They become zealots for their religion.

A large portion of the masses of the West are zealots of the religion of secular humanism. People are sheep. They follow leaders. People adopt philosophies and outlooks and then follow them for the rest of their lives. The West has followed secular humanism.

Secular humanism stands in high opposition to true Christianity, the Christianity that we find in the Bible. The two are opposites. They cannot be reconciled. Just as light and dark, Good and Evil are opposites, they are opposites. See Religious liberalism; Humanism. (Note here the number of “Christian” ministers and theologians who were signatories of Humanist Manifesto I). Christianity has been grossly corrupted and perverted in the West. Who is really behind all this? It is Satan. Satan hates God, Jesus Christ, and Christianity. Modern western man has followed the road of Satan. And the spiritual condition of modern western society reflects where the road of Satan has taken it.

"How long, you simple ones,

will you love simplicity?

For scorners delight in their scorning,

And fools hate knowledge.

Turn at my rebuke;

Surely I will pour out my spirit on you;

I will make my words known to you.

Because I have called and you refused,

I have stretched out my hand and no one regarded,

Because you disdained all my counsel,

And would have none of my rebuke,

I also will laugh at your calamity;

I will mock when your terror comes,

When your terror comes like a storm,

And your destruction comes like a whirlwind,

When distress and anguish come upon you.

"Then they will call on me, but I will not answer;
