On Religion

   He does not believe that does not live according to his belief.

   Much religion, but no goodness.

   Much praying, but no piety.

   Void of purity in morals, faith is but a hypocrite of words.

   To suppose that people can be saved by studying and giving 
   assent to formulae is like supposing that one can get to 
   Timbuktu by poring over a map of Africa.
