Traits characterizing the rational mind

    Traits characterizing the rational mind (i.e. traits of the 
      mind ruled by reason): 

        Honesty.  The rational mind is an honest mind. It wishes 
           not to deceive either itself or others. 

        Humility.  The rational mind is a humble mind.  It listens 
           to others.  It wishes to learn what it can of others. 

        Justness.  The rational mind is a just mind.  It is just 
           to all.  It will give the Devil his due. 

        Truth-seeking.  The rational mind is a truth-seeking mind.  
           It loves Truth.  It is a thoughtful mind, a reflective 
           mind.  It loves knowledge, it loves to read, it loves to 
           learn. It questions, examines and thinks.
