Cause of high Black crime rate and poor school performance

Why is the crime rate among black youth so high? Why do Black children do more poorly than white children in school? The answer to both questions is the same. It lies in the outlooks and attitudes of the Black American subculture. More specifically it is a particular belief of the American Black subculture. What is that belief? It is the belief that Blacks are discriminated against in American society. That belief is the problem. That belief and the attitudes associated with it. This outlook discourages the self-confidence and “can-do” attitude that is so important to success. It encourages the attitude that if the odds are against you the answer to survival and success is through crime. And the attitude that if society is against you why bother to exert yourself in school? Why work hard if there is no reward? So this defeatist attitude perpetrated by this subculture holds Blacks down.

[I would say there are other reasons Blacks do poorly in school, also: Poor schools, poor teachers, lack of order and discipline in schools, a teaching emphasis on things such as self-esteem, sex education, and politically correct liberal social ideas instead of academic fundamentals. Also, there might be something else involved, too: Perhaps black children think they are dumb because they know blacks do poorly in school — and consequently don’t try.]

Is this belief that blacks are discriminated against in American society true? To some extent I think it is. If an employer’s experience with black men is that they are very poorly educated and ignorant and tend to mess-up on jobs he will come to prefer non-blacks in his hiring. On the other hand if he hires, say black women, for cash register jobs and he has been very happy with their work he will continue to hire black women for cash register jobs. It all comes down to the public’s perception of black people and people’s experience with black people. Everyone knows that blacks (American blacks as opposed to foreign-born blacks) tend to do very poorly in school and that blacks tend to be undereducated compared to whites. If you need to find a new doctor and you have a choice between a white doctor and a black one which will you choose? I will look at things like the schools they attended and how long they have been practicing. However, I also have in my mind that blacks tend to do more poorly than whites in school and because of the affirmative action policies of our colleges a black graduate of XYZ university may not be at all equal to a white graduate. So I will probably pick a white doctor for my doctor. I want the very best doctor and I think my chances are better by picking a white doctor. However, if it happened that black doctors had a reputation for being the very best doctors, better than white doctors, I would definitely pick a black doctor. It all comes down to perceptions. Gypsies have a reputation for stealing. I am sure not all of them steal. But they have a reputation for it and I would not hire a Gypsy to clean my house. I just wouldn’t want to take the chance. So I discriminate. Intelligent people think and thinking causes people to discriminate.

Policemen have been accused of treating black men unfairly. But the policeman already knows from experience that black men are much more inclined toward crime and violence than white men. He has had first hand experience with them. It is inevitable that first hand experience will influence one’s conduct. Is his conduct discriminating? Possibly. Unfairly discriminating? I wouldn’t assume that.

Where does the idea that black people are discriminated against in American society come from? Well, it may have some basis in fact and experience, with and without reason. In the past he may have been perceived by whites as dumb, lazy, and prone to violence. Perhaps with justification, perhaps not. However, what really keeps the idea of unfair anti-black discrimination alive today is the Liberals. It is the constant mantra, of both black and white liberals. And it keeps being reinforced with all of the Liberal megaphones, the liberal news media and political apparatus. Black leaders who hate whites want to stir up anger and resentment against whites. Liberal politicians want black votes and want to keep race hatred alive. They want blacks to believe they are discriminated against. If they didn’t believe that they might start voting conservative.
