How many creatures in our world kill other creatures? Well, there are the carnivores. These are creatures who eat meat like lions, wolves, hawks, and shark. Carnivores kill because they need to eat meat and are forced to kill or they would stave to death. Other creatures like sheep, goats, and horses are herbivores, don’t eat meat, and don’t kill other creatures (unless in the act of defending themselves). How many creatures who do kill will kill others of their own kind? I don’t think of many. A male bear will kill small male cubs because he doesn’t want male competition. Except for a few exceptions, creatures don’t generally kill their own kind.
There is one creature on this planet, however, a rather unique creature, who does kill, and kill a lot. He kills other creatures for food, and he has a very long history of killing his own kind. What creature am I talking about? I am talking about man. Over the centuries, wherever man has been found, whether on the great plains of the Americas, the highlands of Mexico or the Andes, the lands of Europe, Africa, Asia, the Middle East, or the Orient he has a long history of warring against others of his own kind and committing great slaughters accompanied by all kinds of cruelty. Those that he didn’t kill he would take into slavery. It has been going on for thousands of years, as long as he has lived on the earth. The Old Testament of the Bible tells of great battles in which hundreds of thousands were slaughtered. The entire history of man is a history of unending wars and great heartless slaughters. The world is as afflicted by war and killing today as it has ever been.
Man is a quarrelsome creature who is always getting into arguments and fights. And those arguments often turn into great wars and huge slaughters. What is behind all of his arguing and fighting? Pride, arrogance, anger, hatred, greed, envy. Desire for power. Quest for wealth. Selfishness. The entire problem has to do with his basic nature. He can lie, cheat, steal, and kill without sympathy or remorse.
The leftist liberals in our universities have everything figured out. They know the ideal type economic system, the way to fix all of the problems of man. And they know who the good guys are and who the bad guys are. The good guys are the liberals and the bad guys are the conservatives. The good guys are the downtrodden blacks and the bad guys are the whites. The good guys are the women and the bad guys are the men. The good guys are the gays and lesbians and their friends and supporters and the bad guys are the Christians. The good guys are the socialists and the bad guys are the Capitalists. The white man is bad because the great, great, great grandfathers of some of them held slaves and is guilty because of some kind of class guilt. The fathers of our country were bad because some of them held slaves. Our country is basically bad and in need of fundamental change.
In the enlightened world of the modern Liberal the old moral views and values are outdated and wrong and sexual liberation and gross moral depravity is good. In addition, they have a new-age enlightenment in regard to sex in which there is no male and female, just a spectrum extending from one extreme to another — a new understanding that mandates that a great alteration be made in language with respect to use of gender pronouns.
Mankind has been heartlessly slaughtering each other for thousands of years and shown all kinds of evidence of great moral degradation and the liberals are obsessed with the horrid crime of social bias, some claimed discrimination of one social group by another. They defund police departments claiming police excesses and allow criminals to run wild. They make mountains of molehills and don’t see the forest for the trees.
I don’t think that there is any wild creature that ever descends to the depths of moral depravity and badness that man does. He has a capacity for evil that other creatures just don’t have. The liberals think that man is basically good, believe that it is environment that makes him bad. That is a very bad assumption. And when you start with false assumptions you end with wrong conclusions. The Bible informs us of the moral depravity of man and the existence of a force of Evil in this world — Satan. Unfortunately, the liberals reject the Bible and its teachings and look to their own minds which tell them what they want to believe.
