JESUS WAS THE MESSIAH, THE REDEEMER, THE SAVIOR, THE SON OF GOD
________________________________________________________________
________________________________________________________________
Luke 1:30-35 Then the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid,
Mary, for you have found favor with God. {31} "And behold, you
will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall
call His name JESUS. {32} "He will be great, and will be called
the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the
throne of His father David. {33} "And He will reign over the
house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no
end." {34} Then Mary said to the angel, "How can this be, since
I do not know a man?" {35} And the angel answered and said to
her, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the
Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who
is to be born will be called the Son of God.
Matthew 3:16-17 When He had been baptized, Jesus came up
immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened
to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and
alighting upon Him. And suddenly a voice came from heaven,
saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."
John 4:25-26 The woman said to Him, "I know that Messiah is
coming" (who is called Christ). "When He comes, He will tell us
all things." Jesus said to her, "I who speak to you am
He."
John 7:28-29 Then Jesus cried out, as He taught in the
temple, saying, "You both know Me, and you know where I am
from; and I have not come of Myself, but He who sent Me is
true, whom you do not know. {29} "But I know Him, for I am from
Him, and He sent Me."
John 2:1-12 And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of
Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there: And both Jesus was
called, and his disciples, to the marriage. And when they
wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no
wine. Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee?
mine hour is not yet come. His mother saith unto the servants,
Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it. And there were set there
six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the
Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece. Jesus saith unto
them, Fill the water pots with water. And they filled them up to
the brim. And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto
the governor of the feast. And they bare it. When the ruler of
the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not
whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the
governor of the feast called the bridegroom and saith unto him,
Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when
men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept
the good wine until now. This beginning of miracles did Jesus
in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his
disciples believed on him. After this he went down to Capernaum,
he, and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples: and they
continued there not many days.
Matthew 4:23-25 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in
their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and
healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among
the people. And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they
brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers
diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with
devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the
palsy; and he healed them. And there followed him great
multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decapolis, and from
Jerusalem, and from Judaea, and from beyond Jordan.
Matthew 14:15-21 And when it was evening, his disciples came to
him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past;
send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and
buy themselves victuals. But Jesus said unto them, They need not
depart; give ye them to eat. And they say unto him, We have here
but five loaves, and two fishes. He said, Bring them hither to
me. And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and
took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to
heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his
disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. And they did all
eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that
remained twelve baskets full. And they that had eaten were about
five thousand men, beside women and children.
Mark 6:45-52 And straightway he constrained his disciples to
get into the ship, and to go to the other side before unto
Bethsaida, while he sent away the people. And when he had sent
them away, he departed into a mountain to pray. And when even
was come, the ship was in the midst of the sea, and he alone on
the land. And he saw them toiling in rowing; for the wind was
contrary unto them: and about the fourth watch of the night he
cometh unto them, walking upon the sea, and would have passed
by them. But when they saw him walking upon the sea, they
supposed it had been a spirit, and cried out. For they all saw
him, and were troubled. And immediately he talked with them, and
saith unto them, Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid. And
he went up unto them into the ship; and the wind ceased: and
they were sore amazed in themselves beyond measure, and wondered.
For they considered not the miracle of the loaves: for their
heart was hardened.
Luke 7:11-13 And it came to pass the day after, that he went
into a city called Nain; and many of his disciples went with him,
and much people. Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city,
behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his
mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with
her. And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and
said unto her, Weep not. And he came and touched the bier: and
they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say
unto thee, Arise. And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak.
And he delivered him to his mother. And there came a fear on
all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen
up among us; and, That God hath visited his people. And this
rumour of him went forth throughout all Judaea, and throughout
all the region round about.
Mark 4:35-41 And the same day, when the even was come, he saith
unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side. And when they
had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the
ship. And there were also with him other little ships. And
there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the
ship, so that it was now full. And he was in the hinder part of
the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto
him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? And he arose, and
rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And
the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And he said unto
them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?
And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What
manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?
John 8:42 Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you
would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor
have I come of Myself, but He sent Me.
Matthew 16:15-17 He said to them, "But who do you say that I
am?" {16} Simon Peter answered and said, "You are the Christ,
the Son of the living God." {17} Jesus answered and said to
him, "Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has
not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.
John 9:35-39 Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and
when He had found him, He said to him, "Do you believe in the
Son of God?" {36} He answered and said, "Who is He, Lord, that
I may believe in Him?" {37} And Jesus said to him, "You have
both seen Him and it is He who is talking with you." {38} Then
he said, "Lord, I believe!" And he worshiped Him. {39} And
Jesus said, "For judgment I have come into this world, that
those who do not see may see, and that those who see may be
made blind."
John 14:6-11 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth,
and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. {7}
"If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and
from now on you know Him and have seen Him." {8} Philip said to
Him, "Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us."
{9} Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you so long, and yet
you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the
Father; so how can you say, 'Show us the Father'? {10} "Do you
not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The
words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority;
but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. {11} "Believe
Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else
believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.
John 8:13-29 The Pharisees therefore said to Him, "You bear
witness of Yourself; Your witness is not true." {14} Jesus
answered and said to them, "Even if I bear witness of Myself,
My witness is true, for I know where I came from and where I am
going; but you do not know where I come from and where I am
going. {15} "You judge according to the flesh; I judge no one.
{16} "And yet if I do judge, My judgment is true; for I am not
alone, but I am with the Father who sent Me. {17} "It is also
written in your law that the testimony of two men is true. {18}
"I am One who bears witness of Myself, and the Father who sent
Me bears witness of Me." {19} Then they said to Him, "Where is
Your Father?" Jesus answered, "You know neither Me nor My
Father. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father
also." {20} These words Jesus spoke in the treasury, as He
taught in the temple; and no one laid hands on Him, for His
hour had not yet come. {21} Then Jesus said to them again, "I
am going away, and you will seek Me, and will die in your sin.
Where I go you cannot come." {22} So the Jews said, "Will He
kill Himself, because He says, 'Where I go you cannot come'?"
{23} And He said to them, "You are from beneath; I am from
above. You are of this world; I am not of this world. {24}
"Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if
you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins."
{25} Then they said to Him, "Who are You?" And Jesus said to
them, "Just what I have been saying to you from the beginning.
{26} "I have many things to say and to judge concerning you,
but He who sent Me is true; and I speak to the world those
things which I heard from Him." {27} They did not understand
that He spoke to them of the Father. {28} Then Jesus said to
them, "When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that
I am He, and that I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father
taught Me, I speak these things. {29} "And He who sent Me is
with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do
those things that please Him."
John 10:25 Jesus answered them,"I told you and you do not
believe. The works that I do in My Father's name, they bear
witness of Me." {30} "I and My Father are one." {31} Then the
Jews took up stones again to stone Him. {32} Jesus answered
them, "Many good works I have shown you from My Father. For
which of those works do you stone Me?" {33} The Jews answered
Him, saying, "For a good work we do not stone You, but for
blasphemy, and because You, being a Man, make Yourself God."
John 12:45 "And he who sees Me sees Him who sent Me.
John 7:16 Jesus answered them and said, "My doctrine is not
Mine, but His who sent Me.
John 10 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter
the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the
same is a thief and a robber. {2} "But he who enters by the
door is the shepherd of the sheep. {3} "To him the doorkeeper
opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep
by name and leads them out. {4} "And when he brings out his own
sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they
know his voice. {5} "Yet they will by no means follow a
stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the
voice of strangers." {6} Jesus used this illustration, but they
did not understand the things which He spoke to them. {7} Then
Jesus said to them again, "Most assuredly, I say to you, I am
the door of the sheep. {8} "All who ever came before Me are
thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. {9} "I am
the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go
in and out and find pasture. {10} "The thief does not come
except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that
they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
{11} "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life
for the sheep. {12} "But a hireling, he who is not the
shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming
and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep
and scatters them. {13} "The hireling flees because he is a
hireling and does not care about the sheep. {14} "I am the good
shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. {15} "As
the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down
My life for the sheep. {16} "And other sheep I have which are
not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My
voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd. {17}
"Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that
I may take it again. {18} "No one takes it from Me, but I lay
it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have
power to take it again. This command I have received from My
Father." {19} Therefore there was a division again among the
Jews because of these sayings. {20} And many of them said, "He
has a demon and is mad. Why do you listen to Him?" {21} Others
said, "These are not the words of one who has a demon. Can a
demon open the eyes of the blind?" {22} Now it was the Feast of
Dedication in Jerusalem, and it was winter. {23} And Jesus
walked in the temple, in Solomon's porch. {24} Then the Jews
surrounded Him and said to Him, "How long do You keep us in
doubt? If You are the Christ, tell us plainly." {25} Jesus
answered them, "I told you, and you do not believe. The works
that I do in My Father's name, they bear witness of Me. {26}
"But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, as I
said to you. {27} "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and
they follow Me. {28} "And I give them eternal life, and they
shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My
hand. {29} "My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater
than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father's
hand. {30} "I and My Father are one." {31} Then the Jews took
up stones again to stone Him. {32} Jesus answered them, "Many
good works I have shown you from My Father. For which of those
works do you stone Me?" {33} The Jews answered Him, saying,
"For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy, and
because You, being a Man, make Yourself God." {34} Jesus
answered them, "Is it not written in your law, 'I said, "You
are gods" '? {35} "If He called them gods, to whom the word of
God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken), {36} "do you say
of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, 'You
are blaspheming,' because I said, 'I am the Son of God'? {37}
"If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me; {38}
"but if I do, though you do not believe Me, believe the works,
that you may know and believe that the Father is in Me, and I
in Him." {39} Therefore they sought again to seize Him, but He
escaped out of their hand. {40} And He went away again beyond
the Jordan to the place where John was baptizing at first, and
there He stayed. {41} Then many came to Him and said, "John
performed no sign, but all the things that John spoke about
this Man were true." {42} And many believed in Him there.
John 16:26-28 In that day you will ask in My name, and I do
not say to you that I shall pray the Father for you; for the
Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me, and have
believed that I came forth from God. I came forth from the
Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world
and go to the Father.
John 19:7 The Jews answered him, "We have a law, and
according to our law He ought to die, because He made Himself
the Son of God."
John 20:31 But these are written that you may believe that
Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may
have life in His name.
Luke 4:41 And demons also came out of many, crying out and
saying, "You are the Christ, the Son of God!" And He, rebuking
them, did not allow them to speak, for they knew that He was
the Christ.
Luke 7:48-49 Then He said to her, "Your sins are forgiven."
{49} And those who sat at the table with Him began to say to
themselves, "Who is this who even forgives sins?"
Luke 22:69-71 "Hereafter the Son of Man will sit on the
right hand of the power of God." {70} Then they all said, "Are
You then the Son of God?" So He said to them, "You rightly say
that I am." {71} And they said, "What further testimony do we
need? For we have heard it ourselves from His own mouth."
Matthew 8:28-29 When He had come to the other side, to the
country of the Gergesenes, there met Him two demon-possessed
men, coming out of the tombs, exceedingly fierce, so that no
one could pass that way. {29} And suddenly they cried out,
saying, "What have we to do with You, Jesus, You Son of God?
Have You come here to torment us before the time?"
Matthew 9:1-6 So He got into a boat, crossed over, and came
to His own city. {2} Then behold, they brought to Him a
paralytic lying on a bed. When Jesus saw their faith, He said
to the paralytic, "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are
forgiven you." {3} And at once some of the scribes said within
themselves, "This Man blasphemes!" {4} But Jesus, knowing their
thoughts, said, "Why do you think evil in your hearts? {5} "For
which is easier, to say, 'Your sins are forgiven you,' or to
say, 'Arise and walk'? {6} "But that you may know that the Son
of Man has power on earth to forgive sins"; then He said to the
paralytic, "Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house."
Mark 3:11 And the unclean spirits, whenever they saw Him,
fell down before Him and cried out, saying, "You are the Son of
God."
Mark 9:2-10 Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and
John, and led them up on a high mountain apart by themselves;
and He was transfigured before them. {3} His clothes became
shining, exceedingly white, like snow, such as no launderer on
earth can whiten them. {4} And Elijah appeared to them with
Moses, and they were talking with Jesus. {5} Then Peter
answered and said to Jesus, "Rabbi, it is good for us to be
here; and let us make three tabernacles: one for You, one for
Moses, and one for Elijah"; {6} because he did not know what to
say, for they were greatly afraid. {7} And a cloud came and
overshadowed them; and a voice came out of the cloud, saying,
"This is My beloved Son. Hear Him!" {8} Suddenly, when they had
looked around, they saw no one anymore, but only Jesus with
themselves. {9} Now as they came down from the mountain, He
commanded them that they should tell no one the things they had
seen, till the Son of Man had risen from the dead. {10} So they
kept this word to themselves, questioning what the rising from
the dead meant.
Mark 12:1-12 Then He began to speak to them in parables: "A
man planted a vineyard and set a hedge around it, dug a place
for the wine vat and built a tower. And he leased it to
vinedressers and went into a far country. {2} "Now at vintage-
time he sent a servant to the vinedressers, that he might
receive some of the fruit of the vineyard from the
vinedressers. {3} "And they took him and beat him and sent him
away empty-handed. {4} "Again he sent them another servant, and
at him they threw stones, wounded him in the head, and sent him
away shamefully treated. {5} "And again he sent another, and
him they killed; and many others, beating some and killing
some. {6} "Therefore still having one son, his beloved, he also
sent him to them last, saying, 'They will respect my son.' {7}
"But those vinedressers said among themselves, 'This is the
heir. Come, let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.'
{8} "So they took him and killed him and cast him out of the
vineyard. {9} "Therefore what will the owner of the vineyard
do? He will come and destroy the vinedressers, and give the
vineyard to others. {10} "Have you not even read this
Scripture: 'The stone which the builders rejected Has become
the chief cornerstone. {11} This was the Lord's doing, And it
is marvelous in our eyes'?" {12} And they sought to lay hands
on Him, but feared the multitude, for they knew He had spoken
the parable against them. So they left Him and went away.
Mark 14:61-62 But He kept silent and answered nothing. Again
the high priest asked Him, saying to Him, "Are You the Christ,
the Son of the Blessed?" {62} Jesus said, "I am. And you will
see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and
coming with the clouds of heaven."
Mark 16:19 So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He
was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of
God.

JESUS EXISTED WITH THE FATHER FROM THE BEGINNING OF TIME

John 17:5 "And now, O Father, glorify Me together with
Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world
was.
John 17:24 "Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me
may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which
You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of
the world.
John 8:23 And He said to them, "You are from beneath; I am
from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.
John 8:58 Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you,
before Abraham was, I AM."
Luke 10:18 And He said to them, "I saw Satan fall like
lightning from heaven.
John 1:1-18 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was
with God, and the Word was God. {2} He was in the beginning
with God. {3} All things were made through Him, and without Him
nothing was made that was made. {4} In Him was life, and the
life was the light of men. {5} And the light shines in the
darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. {6} There was
a man sent from God, whose name was John. {7} This man came for
a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him
might believe. {8} He was not that Light, but was sent to bear
witness of that Light. {9} That was the true Light which gives
light to every man coming into the world. {10} He was in the
world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did
not know Him. {11} He came to His own, and His own did not
receive Him. {12} But as many as received Him, to them He gave
the right to become children of God, to those who believe in
His name: {13} who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of
the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. {14} And the
Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory,
the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace
and truth. {15} John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying,
"This was He of whom I said, 'He who comes after me is
preferred before me, for He was before me.' " {16} And of His
fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. {17} For
the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came
through Jesus Christ. {18} No one has seen God at any time. The
only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has
declared Him.
Col 1:16-17 For by Him all things were created that are in
heaven and in earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or
dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created
through Him and for Him. {17} And He is before all things, and
in Him all things consist.

ALL AUTHORITY HAS BEEN GIVEN TO JESUS IN HEAVEN AND IN EARTH

Matthew 28:17-18 When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but
some doubted. {18} And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying,
"All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
Matthew 11:27 All things have been delivered to Me by My
Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does
anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the
Son wills to reveal Him.
Hebrews 1:1-3 God who at various times and in various ways
spoke to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days
spoken to us by His Son, whom he has appointed heir of all
things, through whom also He made the worlds; who being the
brightness of his glory and the express image of his person,
and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had
by Himself purged our sins sat down on the right hand of the
Majesty on high.

IT IS JESUS WHO WILL BE THE JUDGE ON THE DAY OF JUDGMENT
________________________________________________________________
________________________________________________________________
John 5:21-23 "For as the Father raises the dead and gives
life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will. {22}
"For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment
to the Son, {23} "that all should honor the Son just as they
honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor
the Father who sent Him.
John 5:26-27 "For as the Father has life in Himself, so He
has granted the Son to have life in Himself, {27} "and has
given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the
Son of Man.
Matthew 7:21-23 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,'
shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of
My Father in heaven. {22} "Many will say to Me in that day,
'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out
demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' {23}
"And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart
from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'
Matthew 16:27 "For the Son of Man will come in the glory of
His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each
according to his works.
Matthew 25:31-46 "When the Son of Man comes in His glory,
and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the
throne of His glory. {32} "All the nations will be gathered
before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a
shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. {33} "And He will
set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.
{34} "Then the King will say to those on His right hand, 'Come,
you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you
from the foundation of the world: {35} 'for I was hungry and
you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a
stranger and you took Me in; {36} 'I was naked and you clothed
Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came
to Me.' {37} "Then the righteous will answer Him, saying,
'Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and
give You drink? {38} 'When did we see You a stranger and take
You in, or naked and clothe You? {39} 'Or when did we see You
sick, or in prison, and come to You?' {40} "And the King will
answer and say to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as
you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it
to Me.' {41} "Then He will also say to those on the left hand,
'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared
for the devil and his angels: {42} 'for I was hungry and you
gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; {43}
'I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did
not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.'
{44} "Then they also will answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did
we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or
in prison, and did not minister to You?' {45} "Then He will
answer them, saying, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you
did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it
to Me.' {46} "And these will go away into everlasting
punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."
2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment
seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in
the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

JESUS WAS THE PHYSICAL REALIZATION OF GOD
________________________________________________________________
________________________________________________________________
Jesus was the physical realization of God. He was God, in human form,
come down to earth. Jesus repeatedly emphasized that he did exactly
as God wanted, and only as God wanted; that he was absolutely and
completely obedient to God's intent and wishes. Jesus was God in
human flesh walking on this earth. He had the mind, values and
outlook of God. Do you want to know what the creator of the universe
is really like? Do you want to know what sort of being he really is,
what his likes and dislikes are, what his outlooks, attitudes and
values are on various topics? Do you want to know how he thinks?
Then you need only look at Jesus. Study Jesus, his teachings and
his conduct. Study the gospels and note His words and His actions.
Study the epistles. In the epistles you will find the set of outlooks,
attitudes and values that Jesus passed to his disciples. There you
will find how God thinks and feels about things. If you will study
Jesus, his words and example, you will find the Most High God, creator
of this great universe, to be a humble, meek, kind, peaceful,
self-sacrificing being who cares about people; a being who loves
integrity, virtue, moral purity and goodness and hates pride,
arrogance, deceitfulness, immorality, sin.
John 1:18 No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son,
who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.
John 14:8 Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is
sufficient for us.” 9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long,
and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the
Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Do you not believe
that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak
to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in
Me does the works. 11 Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father
in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.
Jesus declared God on this earth.
