Thought paths
Some thoughts have just come to me and I will attempt to write them down. It has to do with how the mind works. The mind operates in terms of thought paths. What is a thought path? A thought path is a set of thoughts, feelings, fantasies, or images of a particular type. One example of a thought path is some thoughts of an erotic, pornographic nature — consisting of pornographic imagery, sexual fantasy, or imagined sexual activity. If you encourage this pattern of thoughts the thought path will occur more and more frequently. If you discourage it, this thought path will occur less and less frequently. Encouraging it could put you on the road to high sexual depravity.
Other examples of thought paths:
● thoughts, feelings and outlook of an arrogant and prideful nature
● thoughts, feelings and outlook of an angry, anti-social nature
● thoughts, feelings and outlook of a vengeful nature
● thoughts, feelings of a jealous nature
● thoughts, feelings of a selfish nature
● thoughts, feelings of a fearful nature
● thoughts, feelings and outlook that hold an alcoholic in its grip
● thoughts, feelings and outlook that hold a drug addict in its grip
● thoughts, feelings, fantasies, and images that hold a homosexual in its grip
The above is all related to habit and the power of habit.
