On love, dating, sex and marriage

I will reserve this webpage for articles that I encounter on love, dating, sex and marriage.

I have been married for 58 years and my marriage has been a very happy one. I would definitely not like living alone and am very thankful to God for my wife. I met her in April 1965 on a Greyhound bus when I was 25 years old. I had taken a bus to New York City and met her on the return trip home. She got on the bus in Newark and when she got on the bus there were two seats available — one beside me and one next to a fellow ahead of me. She picked the one next to me. She was a very attractive girl and I was very much impressed and managed to get up the nerve to start a conversation with her. She had been in Newark visiting her brother on his birthday. We dated and then got married in April 1966. See God’s hand in my life.

We live in a very sick society that has abandoned God and the Bible and the values, outlooks and ways of Christianity. With all of the fallout of the great sexual revolution of the 1960's and the advent of the internet and the cell phone and all of the online dating apps and our country’s great preoccupation with pornography I can just imagine how very difficult it would be to find a decent lifemate in this modern world.

I personally am still living back in the dark ages of the Biblical age and am not shy about admitting it. I stopped watching TV and going to movies back in the late 1970's because things were changing then and I didn’t like the way they were going. We don’t have a cell phone and neither my wife nor I touch any pornography. We are not in Facebook or any other social media and we don’t converse with strangers in online groups.
