The fear of God

Deu 10:12 And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require
of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways,
and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy
heart and with all thy soul, {13} To keep the commandments of
the Lord, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for
   thy good?

Deu 10:20 Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God; him shalt thou
serve, and to him shalt thou cleave, and swear by his name.
{21} He is thy praise, and he is thy God, that hath done for
thee these great and terrible things, which thine eyes have
   seen.

Deu 13:4 Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him,
and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall
serve him, and cleave unto him.

Deu 8:5-6 Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a
man chasteneth his son, so the LORD thy God chasteneth thee.
{6} Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy
God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.

1 Sam 2:30 For them that honour me I will honour, and they
that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.

Psa 25:12-14 What man is he that feareth the LORD? him shall
he teach in the way that he shall choose. {13} His soul shall
dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth. {14} The
secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will show
   them his covenant.

Psa 31:19 Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid
up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them
that trust in thee before the sons of men!

Psa 33:8 Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the
inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. {18} Behold, the
eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope
   in his mercy;

Psa 34:7 The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them
that fear him, and delivereth them. {9} O fear the LORD, ye his
saints: for there is no want to them that fear him. {11} Come,
ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the
   LORD.

Psa 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted
among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

Psa 103:8 The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and
plenteous in mercy. {9} He will not always chide: neither will
he keep his anger for ever. {10} He hath not dealt with us after
our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. {11} For
as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy
toward them that fear him. {12} As far as the east is from the
west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. {13} Like
as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that
fear him. {14} For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we
are dust. {15} As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of
the field, so he flourisheth. {16} For the wind passeth over it,
and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.
{17} But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting
upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s
children; {18} To such as keep his covenant, and to those that
remember his commandments to do them.

Psa 112:1 Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that
   delighteth greatly in his commandments.

Psa 115:13 He will bless them that fear the LORD, both small
   and great.

Psa 147:11 The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in
those that hope in his mercy.

Job 28:28 The fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart
   from evil is understanding.

Prov 9:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom:
and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

Prov 8:13 The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and
arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

Prov 14:2 He that walketh in his uprightness feareth the
LORD: but he that is perverse in his ways despiseth him.

Prov 14:16 A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil: but
the fool rageth, and is confident.

Prov 14:26-27 In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence:
and his children shall have a place of refuge. {27} The fear of
the LORD is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of
   death.

Prov 15:16 Better is little with the fear of the LORD than
   great treasure and trouble therewith.

   Prov 15:33   The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom;
   and before honour is humility.

Prov 16:6 By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the
fear of the LORD men depart from evil.

Prov 19:23 The fear of the LORD tendeth to life: and he that
hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with
   evil.

Prov 22:4 By humility and the fear of the LORD are riches,
   and honour, and life.

Prov 23:17 Let not thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in
the fear of the LORD all the day long.

Eccl 8:12 Though a sinner do evil an hundred times, and his
days be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with
them that fear God, which fear before him:

Eccl 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:
Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty
   of man.

Jer 32:39 And I will give them one heart, and one way, that
they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their
children after them: {40} And I will make an everlasting
covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do
them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they
   shall not depart from me.

Mat 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not
able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to
destroy both soul and body in hell.

Acts 10:35 But in every nation he that feareth him, and
worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
