On Peaceableness

Matthew 5:38-47 "You have heard that it was said, 'An eye
for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.' {39} "But I tell you not
to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right
cheek, turn the other to him also. {40} "If anyone wants to sue
you and take away your tunic, let him have your cloak also.
{41} "And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two.
{42} "Give to him who asks you, and from him who wants to
borrow from you do not turn away. {43} "You have heard that it
was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.'
{44} "But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who
curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those
who spitefully use you and persecute you, {45} "that you may be
sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the
evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the
unjust. {46} "For if you love those who love you, what reward
have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? {47} "And
if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than
others? Do not even the tax collectors do so?

Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man
shall see the Lord. Heb. 12:14

Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace,
and things wherewith one may edify another. Rom. 14:19

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then
peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and
good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. The
fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make
   peace. Jas. 3:17,18

Follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that
call on the Lord out of a pure heart. II Tim. 2:22

Be at peace among yourselves. I Thess. 5:13

For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain
his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile.
Let him eschew evil, and do good. Let him seek peace, and
   pursue it. I Pet. 3:10

Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace.
       II Cor 14:33

If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with
   all men. Rom. 12:18

For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all
churches of the saints. I Cor. 14:33

Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of
   peace. Eph. 4:3

That we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness
   and honesty. I Tim. 2:22

Love the truth and peace. Zech. 8:19

Blessed are the peacemakers. For they shall be called the
   children of God. Matt. 5:9

Better is a handful with quietness, than both the hands full
with travail and vexation of spirit. Eccl. 4:6

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell
   together in unity! Psa. 133:1

Seek peace and pursue it. Psa. 34:14

Have peace one with another. Mark 9:50
