NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR: I have put a lot of work into this
mathematics section of my website. I hope you like it. I
hope you find it helpful. It is meant to be a fairly complete
exposition of the main ideas in various areas of mathematics.
Why did I go to all of this work? The answer is that I wrote
it because of my deep dissatisfaction with most mathematical
exposition. I think most mathematical exposition is poor. How
best to present ideas calls for a considerable amount of
sense and judgment. This represents my attempts to do the job.
If you like it, please send me an email and let me know.

For a number of years now I have been trying to think of a way
to insure that my website remains on the internet indefinitely
after my death. It is a riddle I have long wrestled with and
still haven't resolved. Doing this would really just require
keeping the hosting fees paid which are currently around $96
per year. One wouldn't dare to place the responsibility of doing
this in the hands of a single person, even someone you knew and
trusted. Even if he faithfully kept his word, he might die without
making arrangements for maintaining the site after his death. The
answer perhaps lies in creating some legal entity such as a
foundation. But there are high yearly costs in this route and heavy
cons. Perhaps some organization that liked my website might be
willing to do it. I have put a great deal of work into my website and
I believe in its value. If any of my readers have any thoughts or
suggestions in this regard I would like to hear them.

I invite anyone who likes my site to copy my entire site to their
computer using a site ripper such as HTTrack (which is available for
free download at www.httrack.com). If people would do this some copies
would exist even if my site disappeared from the internet.

There is much more to my website than this mathematics
section. I invite you to click on HOME to see the rest of
   the site.

                                                    J. Miller
