On Laziness and Industriousness

Life requires work. Hard work. Action. Everything in life is
accomplished through activity in the form of thought and
action. It is a law of nature. It is the way God made the
world --- part of the design. In nature animals must hunt or
forage for their food. Living in the wild requires work and
effort. Inaction brings hunger. Ants work. Bees work. All
animals work. And in the human sphere man must work. All in
the world of man is achieved through activity in the form of
thought and action. All that is part of modern life, all of
the conveniences and good things in our modern technological
society, are the inheritance of the work and effort of man
through the ages in the form of countless inventions,
discoveries, etc. (all that we have we owe to the work and
effort of our ancestors). For each individual in a society,
hard work and effort is the way to success and wealth. And
laziness and inaction lead surely to failure and poverty. It
takes work and effort to acquire knowledge. The lazy person
who is unwilling to expend the effort to study in school, to
learn, etc. will certainly pay for it in the end. Laziness is
a habit. First it is a thread and finally it becomes a cable,
ruling you in all you do. And its end result is usually
failure and poverty. You get out of life about what you put
into it. If you put a lot in you get a lot out. If you put
little in you get little out. It is some sort of law.
