This is no society for raising children

I have long been convinced that this is no society in which to
raise children. It is just too wicked, too evil, too immoral.
How is it so wicked, evil, immoral? What do I object to? I
object to the values, outlooks and attitudes of the society in
regard to sex. I object to its tolerance toward immorality,
whether that immorality be in the form of sexual promiscuity,
homosexuality, or whatever. I object to the love affair of
this society with lust. And because of the conviction that
there is no hope of changing the society the only other way of
coping with the problem is to "drop out". And so, at heart, I
have long been a "drop out". I can close my ears and eyes,
withdraw, and drop out, but you can't expect that if you have a
child he will do so. Each person picks his own way through
this life and many people learn only through experience and
mistakes. And, regrettably, there is no remedy or retrieve for
   a great many mistakes.
