The love of spending money --- one of the self- destructive traits

   There are a number of traits or habits that tend to pull people 
   down --- that are self-destructive in their nature.  Examples: 
   addiction to alcohol or drugs; smoking; gambling; womanizing; 
   over-eating.  There is another: the love of spending money.  
   Some people just get a pleasure from spending money. It is an 
   urge, a need.  It doesn't matter what they spend it on.  That 
   is not important.  They just feel a desire to spend.  They get 
   a kick, an enjoyment, in "blowing it".  A lot of women are like 
   this --- they just love to spend.  Even if they don't have it, 
   they still spend it.  They just charge it to their charge card.
