We are all part of the web of life

We all affect others. None of us lives to himself. We all
make some kind of impact on others. Life is a web. Each of us
is connected to the rest of humanity. We are all part of a
whole. What we do, how we conduct ourselves in life, the
attitudes that we carry, our values --- all these things affect
the whole. For good or for bad, we are all affecting others in
the web, continually. We are constantly leaving an imprint.
We deceive ourselves if we do not realize this. We constantly
affect both those who know us intimately and those who know us
casually. Life is a constant interaction between us and
others. People are constantly responding to us and we are
constantly responding to others. We are all constantly
changing. How others impact on us influences how we change, in
what directions. We are all learning, seeking, hoping,
struggling. Other people are always having either a positive
effect or a negative effect on us. They are helping us or they
are hindering us. They are an example for good or an example
for bad. They are giving us courage and strength or they are
weakening us. What we are is always shining through to those
around us. Those around us may admire us, look up to us, have
a high regard for us. Or they may have a low regard for us.
We may be a force for good or a force for evil. We may be
propelled by a spirit of honesty, integrity, kindness and
goodness and be a positive force on those about us. Or we may
be propelled by a spirit of deceit, selfishness and badness and
be a negative force on those about us. We may have the spirit
of the living God, the spirit of all that is honest, decent and
good, driving us or we may have the spirit of Satan, the spirit
of all that is dishonest, selfish and bad, driving us. He
whose spirit rules us is he to whom we belong. We all
constantly exert our influence on the web of humanity about us.
We are all important in this life. Even if we don't realize
it. Important for good or for bad.
