Asian parents, by their strictness, show far more real love for their children than do American parents




   Asian parents are strict with their children.  They won't let 
   them date.  They make them study hard in school.  They keep 
   them away from bad friends, drugs and alcohol.  They watch over 
   them, guiding them, insisting on obedience, hard work and 
   excellence.  As parents they are determined that their children 
   will do well in life.  And they view education and high 
   performance in school as the path to success.  In all this they 
   show far more love for their children than do American parents 
   who allow their children all kinds of freedom, (letting them do 
   anything they wish), giving them big allowances, showering them 
   with all kinds of expensive presents on their birthdays and at 
   Christmas time.  This is just another instance where the pagan 
   and non-Christian shows himself far closer to the teachings, 
   values and spirit of the Bible than does the Christian.  It is 
   just another case where the Buddhist, Hindu, Confucian and 
   Moslem show far more true love, far more concern and kindness, 
   far more justice and fairness, far more wisdom and sense, far 
   more goodness, than does the Christian.  In fact, I suspect 
   that nowhere in the world are children so neglected, nowhere is 
   so little real love shown to children, as in the USA.  In 
   Russia, in many countries, children are put on a pedestal and 
   much attention is given to them.  In the USA they just grow up 
   and run wild.
