To be happy one must play the game of life by the rules

   One must play the game of life by the rules.  What happens when 
   a player of some game, whether it be checkers, chess, baseball, 
   football or whatever, refuses to play by the rules?  What 
   happens if a driver of a car deliberately refuses to abide by 
   the rules of the road?  It is the same way with life.  If we 
   refuse to live by the rules of life we end up with troubles and 
   problems.  All is messed up and nothing works right.  What 
   rules of life do you ask?  The man who lies, deceives or cheats 
   is violating one of the rules of life.  The rule of Honesty.  
   The man who brags and boasts is violating a rule of life.  The 
   rule of modesty.  The man who always tries to grab for himself 
   the best spot, place himself ahead of others, is violating a 
   rule of life.  The rule of unselfishness.  The man who is 
   malicious and cruel to others is violating a rule of life.  The 
   rule of kindness to others.  In fact the most of the rules of 
   life can be summarized in one rule "Love your neighbor.  Do 
   unto others as you would have them do unto you."
