   Today is the result of the decisions and actions, good and bad, 
   of yesterday.  Life for me today is the direct result of the 
   judgments, decisions and actions I have taken in days past.  
   This is an obvious and important truth.  Think about it.  Just 
   to give one example.  I decided in my younger days that I 
   didn't want to have children.  I felt strongly about it.  That 
   decision has had a tremendous impact on my life, affecting 
   it in almost every facet.  I have never regretted 
   the decision for a second.  To examine the thought a little 
   further, look at the messes so many young people make of their 
   lives by getting involved in things like drugs, alcohol, 
   premarital sex, etc..  Good sense, good judgment, and the 
   strength and courage to live true to this sense and judgment is 
   so important in life.  There are some mistakes that can just 
   carry so much consequence --- mistakes whose ramifications can 
   follow us all the rest of our lives.
