Worthwhile objectives in life

   What is a worthwhile objective for us in this life?  What is a 
   goal of value and merit?  How will God judge us?  Will a Newton 
   or Edison be judged better than others because of their 
   contributions and intellectual achievements?  Does God even 
   look at these things?  Do these kinds of things represent 
   worthwhile objectives?  Will God not judge us on how kind we 
   were with other people?  how sympathetic we were?  how honest 
   or good or fair we were, instead of on such things as 
   intellectual achievements?  And if this is the way we will be 
   judged shouldn't we concentrate on how we live life, on how we 
   respond and react to life and to people, as our highest 
   objective?
