For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. Words of Jesus, John 3:16-21
Above is the message that Jesus had for mankind. These are very strong words. Christianity is unique. It is unlike any other religion. Jesus claimed to be the son of that Most High God, God of Gods, and that that God sent him to earth to save man. That only those who believe in him will be saved from punishment in an everlasting hell, only those people who believe in him will go to heaven. No other world religion teaches anything like this. Jesus was that messiah prophesied in Jewish scripture. God did this for sinful mankind — he sent his son Jesus to die on the cross to redeem man. There are billions of people on our earth today. They are of many different religions: Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, Judaism, etc. Religions with hundreds of millions of adherents. What are the implications of the words of Jesus in regard to these different religions, with regard to all these peoples? Jesus said, “I am the way, the only way. Believe in me. Follow me. You cannot get to heaven by any other way.” God has given to Jesus the role of final judge on Judgment Day. No one can bypass Judgment Day. No one can bypass Jesus.
Mankind. Deceived mankind. Mankind following false roads, false teachers, false religions, false gods. A world of deception, illusion, and delusion. A world ruled by that great master of lie, deception, and trickery: Satan. Naive, gullible, foolish mankind. Confused, sinful mankind. Mankind on a million false roads. Mankind on the road to Hell, on the road to eternal punishment.
Enter at the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction and many there are who go in thereat. Narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life and few there are who find it. Words of Jesus, Matt 7:13-14
The western world has pretty much abandoned Christianity. Most of present day Christianity is apostate, false. Most people who call themselves Christians are only nominal Christians, Christians in name only. (True Christians don’t condone wickedness of the magnitude of things like homosexuality.) Western man. Depraved, degenerate, lost.
